Hello everyone! So two days ago I got my acceptance into SYA Spain 2014-2015!!! Super exciting I know. As part of my journey for a year over there I wanted to start a blog not only to look back at when the journey is over but to let all my friends in family back in USA know how I am. I found out after waking up from a nap on my car ride from Charleston, SC to Charlotte, NC (I'm touring colleges). It was such a pleasant surprise because I was expecting to find out if I got in the next day! To say the least it made my long car ride a lot happier. If you're wondering "felicitaciones!" is it's the first word of my acceptance letter and it means congratulations in Spanish, so I thought it'd be fitting as the title of my first post :). I can't wait to meet my host family and begin my life in Spain!
